It's that time of the year...

My 3 boys driving down Klamath Hill. Thank goodness for good neighbors. They were on their way to borrow John Salisbury's spring harrow.

Look how green it is getting in the basin.

We're busying farming like everyone else in the basin, northwest and US. We are getting our little plot of soil ready for corn to be planted. It's always creepy when we have corn. It's like we put up a big yellow neon arrow pointing to our house saying "Ok, Aliens, this is where we live. Come to our house and build your crop circle so you can summon all your alien friends to our planet." Because of that, that might be the only reason why I like having a body of water close by. Because we all know aliens don't like water!! (If you don't understand why I'm saying all this, watch the movie SIGNS. Then everything will make sense.) Oh yeh that's Lexi driving out there!!

don't give Bode a sprinkler tied to the end of a string because he might think that it's a helicopter and just as it's about to pretend to take flight it really does take flight and when it lands, it's not on a nice marked, well-lit,

designated landing area, it's my back window. I really hope it doesn't rain tonight. I just figured that we are officially white trash because we have a bag taped over our window.

Someone new in town

I don't want to say to much about baby Telford because I'm not sure how his mommy and daddy are going to spell his name and I don't want to take all his mommy's thunder. But he has arrived here healthy and cute and bigger than her usual size of babies. He was born on April 4, 2011. That's all I will say unless his momma wants me to say more about him later.

We have fun cousins

Being one of the olders in the family, makes my kids some of the olders in the cousin world. It's hard to find a cousin friend. But my cousins that are my age have kids that are my kiddos ages. To make a long story semi-short.

My bestie from high school married one of my cousins. Therefore I'm related to my bestie and my kids got some fun cousins out of the deal. They came and visited yesterday and it was alot of fun. As you can see, they got the tall genes. Oh how we love cousins!!
