Bode said to Lexi while we were getting a McDonald's "Lex, do you want to get a Happy Meal or a Sad Happy Meal?"

Happy Valentine's Day

To the guy in my life. (Like he even looks at my blog)!! I love Eric for the incredible man that he is. He works really hard for us and provides us with nice things. I often think I have never had to be too hot or too cold in my house because I can set the temperature at whatever temp I want it and I don't have to worry about how much it costs. When I with Eric, I'm a better person and he wants me to be a better person. He encourages and supports me in all my crazy adventures and stunts. He lets me scrapbook and sew and paint and do all the things I love to do and he will even watch the kids. I so appreciate that he loves his job and working and that he teaches our kids to work too. When we got married I never thought that I could love him more than I did that day. But as we all know, that love grows. The experiences that we have had have brought us closer together. We've had lots of ups and a few downs and that eternal love continues to grow. It's an incredible, rewarding feeling. So to you, my Valentine, I ask you again, will you be mine?

Leavin' on a jet plane

Don't know when I'll be back again. Eric got to fly on Easterday's PRIVATE plane to CA to go to a farm show?? He's gone just for the day. How weird is that to have a plane? It's his first time going on it though. I think Cody flies on it all the time especially to Canada to their feedlot up there. Can't wait to hear what it was like.

Lexi's DARE award

Good oh DARE program in our school system. Lexi won the essay part of the program and she had to read it to everyone. Here's pics of her with Deputy Chambers and Sheriff Lathim.

Family pic

Bode's primary class forced us to have to take a family picture. It was an interesting session with basically me looking like a dork in every picture. Here's some of the more interesting ones.

2 weeks

Brek had his 2 week appointment. He weighs 8 lbs and is 21 inches long. He's gone through a huge growing sprut. Lexi is sick and I'm trying to keep her away from Brek. Hopefully he will get through this without getting sick. I'm a little nervous. Grandma Gray past away and her funeral is tomorrow. I don't know that I will stay for the whole thing. I have to provide a salad for the dinner. I think I will go and sign the book though. Other than that, we are very boring.

My closet is put back together

but my room still needs work. Brek has his days and nights messed up big time. He sleeps for like 4 hours at a time during the day and at night he sleeps for 45 mins or less. Any suggestions? Some sad news. An Ashton boy a junior or senior at Othello was killed last night in a car accident. He was traveling from Tri-cities to Othello. I will let you know more details when I know them.

There's a leak!!

in my wall. Actually in my washing machine hoses which has leaked through my wall into my closet and the carpet is totally soaking wet. So everything has come out of my closet and I will be cleaning today. I'm glad I'm feeling a little better. And of course, Brek is asleep right now while I work so I won't get to nap because he will be awake when I get done. My room was clean!!

Tea Party and Karaoke

Summer had her official "intro to being a woman" party. They have a little tea party at school with mom/daughter or grandma in this case. They had a fashion show. Mom said that she was the shiest girl there. Too bad. Must be like dad. Lexi is singing "Sharpay's" part in the community dinner entertainment. From High school musical's song "We're all in this together". They will do a whole act and dance routine. Brek is fine. He is sleeping and eating and pooping and peeing. That's about it. Bode is destroyer of all cleanness. He keeps himself busy cutting bananas into a hundred pieces than throwing away the knife, plate and bowl that he was using. Good thing someone looked into the garbage can. Other than that, we are kind of boring. I haven't left the house since Monday. Getting cabin fever.

Feeling Better??

I think that I'm feeling better. Except the fact that I get no sleep. I think I was up from 11 til now. I should be sleeping but here I am typing at the puter. Brek is asleep right now. He has his days and nights totally messed up. I'm going to go rest some. It's cold here like in the teens and twenties. It got down to 8 or 6 last night. Eric spends most of his day thawing out everyone's water. The cows, the pigs, every Mexican that works on the farm. I wish they would understand to turn their water on a drip at night so it doesn't freeze. Hopefully, some one will. Bode is liking the baby but is rough, not to be mean but he doesn't know how not to be rough. He wants Brek to wear these tractor shoes really bad. We will put them on Brek on Fri when he gets to go do the all important "wack job" on his boy parts. Should be interesting.

Blogging again?

I haven't blogged for a long time. Just wanted everyone to know that hopefully on Sunday we will be delivering a baby. I'm feeling alot of pain and pressure with the stitch still in. I think that if I didn't have a stitch I would have a baby. I have dr. tomorrow and we will get plans in concrete. I turn 37 weeks on Sun and that's why he wants to do it then. Hopefully you will be getting a call about the mystery child soon. Pic of Bode and Lizzie at the cabin in Island Park. Lots of snow, lots

of fun and lots of cold!!

Things I'm Thankful for

This time of year makes us reflect on things that we are thankful for.

I'm thankful that my kids can overlook all my faults and still think that I'm the prettiest, best, funniest mom in the world.

I'm thankful that I have a husband who loves his job and takes it very seriously. He provides nice things for us and keeps our house warm and our cupboards stocked with food.

I'm thankful for parents who understood how important the gospel was at a young age and taught me, even though sometimes I wasn't teachable.

I'm thankful for the covenants that I have made in the temple with my Heavenly Father and with Eric. Many times, it has been those covenants that have pulled me through very difficult times including the death of my brother.

I'm thankful for medicine and pain meds. I grateful that doctors and nurses have taken an incredible part of their lives studying and learning about the body so that I can have the conviences of a root canal or an epideral or antiboitics to help my throat feel better.

I'm thankful for animals. That my children have a chance to learn how to raise and take care of animals and that we also can eat them, like turkey!!

I'm thankful for my van, that when I turn the key, it starts (much credit to a husband who keeps things running). that I have enough $ for gas and that I can drive anywhere I want without having to show my visa or passport (which I don't have anyway).

And I'm most thankful for my Savior, who despite all my faults and selfishness still loved me enough to care my pain and sins and to take them on himself. I'm thankful that through His Atonement, I don't have to have hatred toward those who have wronged me because He has also paid for their sins and pains also. I don't have to hold terrible feelings toward the man who ran over my brother because the Savior has so graciously provided a place for me to go, a guilt free zone, where I can put my heart's arms around this man and say, "It's OK, I forgive you. I love you. I have no bad feelings towards you." Because my Savior has provided a way for me to feel that way.

I hope that all of you have a great holiday and remember those things that you are most thankful for.

My email is terrible...

Ok, I have been having a lot of problems with my email. I can't respond or send any emails from it so that's why I have replied or sent any emails. I had Dr. yesterday after waiting like 3 hours. A little girl in the office threw up twice. I felt bad for her mom but the gma was there to take care of her. Of course, she threw up right when it was her mom's turn to see the dr. I know I sure wouldn't give up my spot if I was getting to see the dr. My kid would have to be dying. The nurse that saw me wasn't too happy that the mom stayed for her appointment. I knew exactly how the mom felt. I always think when I have to sit there for 3 hours that I'm not going to do that again and then I talk to the dr. and he's so nice and kind and makes up for all the rudeness of his staff, that I don't want to leave. But I think that I will after this baby. Again the baby is having an indentity crisis. Dr. looked really hard and just wouldn't quite commit to a boy 100%. So I don't know. the other thing is that baby is measuring between 2-3 weeks bigger than it should be, possible gestation diabetes. But my regualr problems with preg are great. He will probably take the stitch out and baby won't come until 4 weeks later and be 11 pounds. Actually, he told me he wouldn't let me go that long. Thank goodness for that. I'm getting to experience all the other things that I've never experience with preg. Other than that, everyone is fine. The trial was really sad and hard. Kyle William sobbed pretty much the whole time and when he asked if he could address the court, he couldn't speak. There is some info from the Seattle media if you want to see it.

Talk to you later. I'm working on changing my email. It should take about 50 years since I have so many emails to transfer over. So check our junk box for an email from me with a new address.
