I'm back to nothin to say again. I guess alot has happened but maybe no time to post about it. Bode had his first soccer game. When he was going to practice, he hated it. "I don't want to do soccer anymore." But now that he's played in a game, he loves it! However, he has started having this little cough and with the swine flu (not really) going around but some kind of nasty flu, I just don't want him to go expose everyone to the disease at school. So he's stayed home two days last week and didn't go to church today. One of my good friends, Danell, had her baby and I really don't want to "share" with them although they will probably get it anyway. Summer has been busy learning how to be a 6th grader. Lots of homework, like at least 2 hours every night. Lots of reading and math. Lexi had her first VB game. They won against Othello in 3. She got to play quite a bit which was exciting for her. She's also busy with homework and socializing. Brek is still busy running wild. We habve fun football games to go to. He has learned how to roll down the hill at the football staduim, really fun for all the kids. Eric is busy with 3 crops coming out of fields, onions, corn and potatoes. His guys are doing onions and tatoes and a crew from the big farm is doing the corn. I'm in a play for enrichment meeting and having been trying to remember my 4 lines. I have my "outfit" picked out. I asked Eric if it was ok that I was going to be making a fool of myself. "I guess. You're going to make a fool of yourself?" Yeh, once everyone sees me in my outfit!! I'll post pics when it's over. See just kinda boring.

Just call the COPS!!
and arrest us for grand theft auto! Yeh, there's a story. Mom and Dad N had to go to prison right after church. Dad had to be at church early so they drove two seperate cars and asked us to bring one home (mom and I made all these arrangements on Sat-I forgot :}) Anyhoo, so Eric and Lexi had to be at church early and then I came later so we had two cars down at the church also and only two drivers. So we recuirted our neighbor, Tyson Brook, to bring dad's PU to our house. I told them to just go jump in the white Columbia View PU, the keys were in it, maybe in the visor. They got home before we did. We drove in and saw a white CV PU in our yard but it was the wrong PU!! How did we know that it was the wrong PU! Well, it could be the fact that the bumper isn't wired on with baling wire and that the passenger door opens (if this doesn't make any sense to you, go to my sister's blog-that's how my dad "fixes" things too.) It was the Bishop's PU!! I about died. We had unintentionally asked Tyson to commit GRAND THEFT AUTO!! with not just anyone's PU, but the Bishop's PU!! Eric drove his PU back down and got dad's BLACK PU!! Duh!! and brought it home. I called down to the church to let them know that we had the Bishop's PU and it was on it's way back down to the church! I guess we should be in prison instead of mom and dad. !-}

I got SOMETHING!!
I got something to blog about!! Last night was Stake Standards Night for Lexi and myself (Eric was supposed to come too but we needed a babysitter and since Mom and Dad N have to go to prison and Mom and Dad F are sick, as are Freeman cousins, someone had to stay home with the kiddos). So Lex and I went to SSN and Pres. and Sis Lowell Barber were speaking. Pres. Barber told a story about a girl that he liked in Jr. High. Her name was Janet. He really liked her alot. On a scout camping trip, he found out that pretty much everyone in his scout troop also liked Janet. That was a little dishearting to him but he still continued to talk to her at school. They weren't in the same ward though. He went to a Pasco ward and she went to Columbia Basin ward. One day one of his friends came up to him and told him that he had good news and bad news. Good news-Columbia Basin Ward had invited them to an outing (get to see Janet) bad news-Janet liked Clayton!! It was devestating to him but (the whole point of the story) he lived!! It was ok that he didn't get Janet because he met Shannon (his wife now). Anyway, Clayton didn't get Janet either. He married another girl and they live in Seattle. Janet married a guy named BOB!! Pres. B also informed us that Janet passed away several years ago and they were so sad and sorry. But each player in the situation had been married in the temple and had a wonderful family. Now why do I tell you this story. I couldn't really figure it out until the drive home. Pres. B had also talked about Pres. Ferris Naef being a good friend. They were best friends in fact. On the way home, I finally put two and two together and realized that Janet was Janet Rigby Maughan. That Bob was Robert Maughan. That they are my sis-in-law (married to my brother, Bret) parents!! Small world isn't it. And so important you were friends are but also more important that being in love at 14 and getting rejected isn't the end of the world.

I got nothin'
I got nothing to say. Not much different is going on around here. Bode is playing soccer, Summer does at least 2 hours of homework each night, Lexi is playing VB and doing homework, mutual, and whatever else she does, Brek is growing and I get to be his playmate now. I have set up the geo trax every day and they get taken down every day too. Eric is digging onions, potatoes aren't ready yet and his crew doesn't have to harvest the corn this year. The crew from the big farm is going to do it. That takes a little pressure off. The biggest problem he has is that he doesn't have enough tractors. With 21+ you would think that would be enough but it's not. I'm just doing cub scouts, driving kids around and going to meetings of some sort or another! Like I said, I got nothin'!

I lost...
1 more pound! Good for me! Still working on it though!
1 crock pot that I didn't even own for 6 months. It went on vacay with us and was the last thing packed which meant with the shifting of items while driving, it was the first thing to fall out on Costco's parking lot when the back door was opened. It broke into a million pieces! Boo HOOO!!
1 diamond out of the center of my ring!! I know! Terrible. I woke up one morning and it was gone. It could be in the grass at Connell High School clear to home and outside around home. I haven't found it yet. However, upgrading isn't too bad as I'm going to get a bigger diamond now that my fiance can afford something a little bigger!!

First Day
Here is Summer-big 6th grade, ruler of the school !-} with her teacher Mr. Ledford. I hope that she has a good year and continues to improve in her studies. She's in band this year also and would like to work as a library aid. Here's Bode with Ms. Haney (how many of you had her as a teacher??) He's in 1st grade. Hopefully he will be able to get all of his summer wiggles out without too much pain and trouble. We do have our twin Freeman Boy cousins coming to school this year as K-ers. I'm a little concerned that Joe and Bode might be caught fighting. They have a love/hate relationship.
