Once your baby can start sitting up, you can give them baths in the sink. SOOOO much easier in my opinion in the sink than leaning over the bath tub. Here is one of Brek's first sink baths. As you can see, some people just can't stand to NOT be in the pic.

creative kid. She on occassion makes this family newspaper. Look how funny and corky it is. She is very clever. I hope that it stays with her because being smart is the best thing in the world to be. (In a 13th A of F kind of a way not a spacious building way).
Anyway, we are getting ready to go to the boat races. Also, Kelly (Draper) Richie called me the other day. SOOOO good to talk to her. Even though time and distance have lessen our bond, I still can't believe how much we have in common, even our married lives have brought us similar situations. She is well and lives in Ashton, ID. She has a blog that you can link to from my blog. She has done some incredible woodworking.

The 24th is OVER!! YEH!! Only to start a new adventure as we are having a BIG trek next year and want it to be as authentic as possible so we will be making pioneer outfits, etc. I also have great kids. They did their Sat. jobs this morning and come to find out, I had an RS meeting that I had forgotten about. I was so grateful that the house wasn't the whirlwind we had had early in the day. The meeting was at 9 in the morning and Lexi's jobs were already done and Summer's were well on her way. The table was cleaned off, hurray and the living room was good. I couldn't believe their insight! It was great that I wasn't all shambles. I will blog more about the 24th when time permits. We are going to the boat races tomorrow too!! First time for all of us!! Should be interesting!

Graham cracker sandwiches. Whenever mom had extra frosting, she would make graham cracker sandwiches for us. I loved them as a kid. Well, my very sweet Visiting Teacher brought me GCS today!! Can you believe it!! It was so exciting and thoughtful and brought back lots of nice memories of the "olden days".

Dallie has been born! Her momma did really good in delivery. They are all home and happy to be home. She is very cute. I think mom is just choppin' at the bit to get there to be with them but she has to go to a family reunion first to she her own momma. Post scrip: Who looks that good after having a baby!! Man, I look like I've been hit with the ugly stick after I have a baby!!

I went to an RS meeting and the secretary of the presidency gave this as a spiritual thought. (I think I need to have more thoughtfulness when it comes to the spirit)
When I used to picture enduring to the end, I pictured me at the end of my rope hanging on for dear life. Waiting to be saved, for the end to come.
During the lesson on Sunday it came into my mind that my Heavenly Father has prepared a way for me. I should put my faith in him and bot just hang on, but also climb. So enduring to the end doesn't mean to just hang on for dear life, but to realize that when you are at the end of your rope, you're going to wrong way. You should start climbing the other way and should you ever reach the top of that rope you should secure your rope to you and start pulling someone else up so their climb might be easier.
D&C 14:7 And if you keep my commandments and endure to the end you shall have eternal life, which gift is the greatest of all the gifts of God.
1 Corinthians 13:8 "Charity never faileth"

The cowgirl has offered to let us keep her kid-frienly horse for the winter, while she is incapacitated with a baby. The horses real owner died from mad cow disease. They think he got it from butchering his own meat. If you know anything about horses(because I sure don't)tell me!

There's not much to say other than we have been busy. Our Freeman cousins have been here and we have been playing with them. Lukey is coming tomorrow so we will get to play with him for a little while. We are excited to see them. Washington state is on fire. There is a really bad fire near Spokane. We are going to play with our cousins at Chuck E Cheese today so everyone is trying to get ready to go. Other than that we are just hangin' out.

We had a fun 4th of July. Lexi helped and organized the parade this year and bossed everyone around at the parade getting them lined up etc. She really liked it and she passed off one of her YW goals. We also had some fireworks (sparklers and 3 tanks) that we set off. The neighbors however had a great fireworks show (I bet they spent at least $5000 on fireworks. We could see it from our house so we enjoyed them on our own grass. It wasn't too hot which was nice but the kids swam all day in Gma Freeman's pool so their faces were a little burnt. I'm glad it's over however, I did have Stacey Shaw (6th grade teacher) help me with the parade and she said that she would like to do it next year. And hopefully Jenny will be up and running next year so we should be staffed very well. The kids were also in the parade.

Busy, busy, busy!! I'm so busy lately. My friend had her baby, Jax Michael. I help on a service project have been swimming everyday, doing the 4th of July Parade in BC. Doing a whole bunch of vinyl. Celebrated Sum's b-day. Took Bode to the dr for third or fourth time this month trying to figure out why he has been sick for a month. Planning a 24th celebration. And the list goes on and on. I'm tired. Wish I was sleeping or relaxing on a beach somewhere!!
