Too tired
to blog. More than half way across the kitchen. By the pantry door and the dishwasher, just have to go to the doorway to the utility and the hallway. Will post pics tomorrow. Fingers are smashed, feet are sore and nose is full of sawdust.

Bode's wrestling is over
Bode is done wrestling. He went to 3 tournaments and took 3rd and two 2nds. If he actually liked to wrestle he might actually do better than he does but alas, he doesn't like it much. I don't know if we will do it next year or not.

Bridge named after Kollin
In the city of Kirkland, WA, my brother's name will live on. After a year of work, the bridge on 116th was named the Kollin Nielson Memorial Bridge. We attended the ceremony. Here's some links about it

I had a dream...
last Monday or Tuesday that Bode was going to take second at the Colfax wrestling tournament and he did. Which means he won 2 matches then lost his last match-which he didn't handle very well- to take second. Our cousin Jacob also took second. Two weeks ago Bode took 3rd and now he's taken 2nd. He doesn't like wrestling much so I told him, "Man, you do so good and you don't even like wrestling. Imagine how good you would be if you did like wrestling!" I don't even know if we will wrestle next year because we don't want him to burn out before HS. Also Lexi was paid a compliment. It was our all district bvand concert-all the bands in the 5 school-E thru HS play in one concert. She was sitting down in her assigned spot and Kim Whitby told me, "I could figure out who that girl was then I realized it was Lexi. She looks alot like Mijken your sister." Of course, Lexi was thrilled because she thinks Mijken is pretty and fun, etc. Can't wait to see all my family this weekend-well except Ki. Busy day today of Grandparents Day.

What's wrong solution!!
I had-unknowing to me-bought Lexi these green pants to wear for extreme green day. She liked them thought they were great, was excited. All was well for the first 2 periods. They were in band because they have a big competition coming up. When she went to 3rd period a boy said to her, Lexi you have a beer advertisment on your pants." It started a FIRESTROM!! Everyone was talking about her beer pants. I received this email from the science teacher at the JH
Sister Freeman,
I am a little disappointed in Lexi. Today she was walking around school as a billboard for Guinness Beer. I know that she probably snuck them out of your house because you would never allow that kind of stuff in your house. Please talk to Lexi about appropriate clothing for an LDS youth.
Mr. Syrie
This extreme green beer joke almost landed her best dressed for the day!! YIKES!! I know that you can't dress in this kind of clothing so I was surprised that she didn't have to change or the school call me to make her change. I did receive another email from Mr. Syrie
Sister Freeman,
Just wanted to have a little fun with you. The kids were giving Lexi a hard time for her pajamas which were covered with beer lables. I hope that you don't take my last email serious. I know you have a great family and strong Christian morals. Lexi is a great ambasador of her faith here at school.
Will
The joke was on me yesterday as she said stuff like, "My mom is crazy. She has no idea what she's doing, etc." Just so you know don't buy Guinesses clothing products. Come to find out the tag did say something like you have to be a legal age to by this clothing or something like that. After closer examination, there are beer mugs on her pants. It was a fun day to Lexi!! Sorry for the unimformed mom stuff. I thought it was Guinness Book of World Records or something!! :-D

What's wrong with this picture??
Leave a comment if you know or just wanna take a stab at it.1. Pierced ears aren't new. She's had them since she was 12-remember there's a whole story with that. There is definitely something wrong with the picture!
HINT: It's not in the background. The wrongness has something to do with Lexi.
2. No not vinyl on the head, that's a ribbon. Spirit Week this week, so yes, she meant to wear pj's for extreme green day, plucking eyebrows happens often, no green dog doo.
HINT: Blowing up the picture is a good idea. Check out the pants. You who are my sisters will probably be as naive as me. You might have to do some research!!

And we have a winner
Winner, winner, chicken dinner. Yes, Bode kind of, maybe, sometimes, figured out a little about wrestling today and brought home a medal for 3rd place. HOWEVER, I can't find my SD card for my camera so I wasn't able to take a picture of him with his medal. ALSO, I didn't get to go because Brek has been sick for about a week now and he is miserable and I knew that Lexi couldn't handle him so I got to stay home with him. Sum and I had a great, fun day with NO FIGHTING!! We even played the wii without fighting!! That's got to be some kind of record!!

There's lots going on...
and yet nothing at all. Maybe it's all the work before the big event. I have several things on my plate. Grandparents Day at the Elementary, community dinner (which I'm not really invovled in this year-well a little-table dec that I'm not in charge of just been asked to help), scout pies-whoa lots of stuff happening there, and a trip to Seattle at the end of the month. As you can see not alot going on but alot going on.
